The UK holds the G20 presidency in 2027. The DEWG agenda for that year will be set in 2026 — exactly when the AI Middle Way Coalition is launching. By positioning the coalition's framework within the DEWG, the AI Middle Way bypasses traditional diplomatic obstacles and places AI governance in the hands of the people who actually understand the technology.
